The essence of Hatha Yoga is movement, with each part of the body moving in relation to a counterpart. Yoga instructors and practitioners can benefit by deepening a basic understanding of how body parts are connected and work in conjunction.
Anatomy is the study of the structure of the body.
This series will provide a comprehensive overview of the names of all the major bones and how they are connected, as well as how the joints, ligaments, muscles, and organs relate and are effected by Asana practice. All of these concepts are crucial to an understanding of how the body moves, the benefits of proper movement, and the dangers of incorrect movement or poor alignment.
