Join Kateri Walsh, a long time Heartsong friend and a yoga teacher who is passionate about her work, a special yoga class to benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Western MA, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI-WM's non-profit organization is dedicated to raising awareness and to provide essential education, advocacy and support group programs for people in our community living with mental health conditions and their loved ones. All programs are offered at no cost to the public.

Kateri is an active member of NAMI-WM, and believes that prayer, yoga and meditation can heal the mind. Through her work, Mindfulness Yoga with Kateri, she advocates for mental illness and addiction. Kateri suffers from a mental illness and uses her story as hope and inspiration.  Her yoga classes are focused on healing the mind through therapeutic, gentle, all levels yoga. Her style of yoga helps to manage mental health symptoms, anxiety, stress and PTSD.  In this class, all are welcome to attend, to support NAMI and to learn more about Mindful therapeutic yoga practices.
