Join Bethany Haller for a workshop where you will take away evidence-based tools for increasing focus, self-awareness, and resilience to foster happier, better focused, more resilient students in a stress-filled world. We will investigate the mind-body connection in relation to the nervous system and brain development. You will experience various breathing tools and focus exercises, and walk away with a number of yoga poses and activities that are appropriate for use in the classroom. Wear comfortable clothes for movement. No previous yoga experience necessary. Bethany Haller is a Level 3 certified Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness instructor through the Little Flower/School Yoga Project of New York City. She completed her 200 hour training in Ashtanga vinyasa-power yoga at Heartsong in May. Her journey with yoga began in 2002 when she attended prenatal yoga classes in Philadelphia. Now a mother of three, she enjoys sharing these tools for increased focus, strength, and physical and emotional balance with the children in our community…and those adults who work and live with them!
