Fall series: Become the Person You Want to Be: Introduction to the Power of Tantra Drop ins welcome anytime! with Eve Arias Resident Teacher of Odiyana Center of Glastonbury Each and every one of us has the opportunity to improve our self, our actions and our world by improving our states of mind.  But can we actually experience clarity, compassion and wisdom all the time?      In the Sutra teachings (public teachings) that Buddha gave, we learn how to create a foundation for a pure mind and pure experiences.  To accomplish this aim quickly, within this one life, we can practice Buddha’s tantric teachings.  Through training in these special methods, we can learn to transform all our daily actions into a quick path to enlightenment,  a state of mind that is free from all negativity and has the power to truly benefit others.   In this series we will learn how to let go of limited views of this “self” that we normally relate to and the habits that don’t serve us. Instead, through the practice of the union of sutra and tantra, we learn to relate to a more realistic, limitless and positive self, one that has the power to transform and purify our world.  This series is a wonderful preparation for the upcoming International Fall Festival that will be held this year at the Kadampa Meditation Center in New York.
