Brain Break Yoga for Teen/Tween Girls, ages 12-16 Wednesdays, 3:30 to 4:30pm
Brain Break Yoga for Teens/Tweens is a chance for these girls to explore the physical practice of yoga, increasing strength and flexibility but will also include the basic tenants of yogic mindfulness. Students will be exposed to the concepts of non-violence, truthfulness, gratitude, moderation, and the cultivation of compassion and joy. Girls will also work on building self-esteem and confidence through a playful mix of heart-opening poses, journaling and thoughtful discussion, meditation, breath work and gratitude.
